9am: Live Tailgate/Parking Lot Worship Service
This service is a safe way to attend a live worship service in-person. It allows us to gather as a group in-person and safely. You will be allowed to tailgate or sit in your own chairs at your vehicle during this service if you choose to do so. You will still have to honor the social distancing rules and not mingle with each other.
10am: Live In-Person Worship Service
  • The In-Person Services will initially be limited to 50 people or less.
  • The service(s) will take place in the sanctuary.
  • Persons will enter and exit only through the front doors on Broad Street. All other doors will remain inaccessible.
  • Entry doors will remain propped open to lessen the amount of contact on the doors and increase air flow.
  • All hymnals, Bibles, pens and paper will be removed from the pews.
  • Attendees will be allowed to sit on the far outside or the inside of every other row to allow for social distancing.
  • No one will be allowed to sit in the middle of the pews (to avoid climbing over others).
  • The balcony will be CLOSED.
  • Masks are required. Please remember the mask is not for you, but for those around you.
  • There will be no nursery or children’s church.
  • Children must stay with their families.
  • There will be no congregational singing, responsive readings or unison prayers. Singing and speaking remain one of the greatest dangers.
  • Services will be restricted to 30 minutes only. Staying inside a concert hall/sanctuary any longer exponentially increase the chances of spreading COVID-19.
  • Commonly touched items will be sanitized between each Sunday service and thoroughly cleaned following all services.
Online Worship Services
Both Modern (9am) and Traditional (11am) Worship Services continue to be live streamed

Parking is readily available on the Cherry Street side of the Church and in the rear parking lot.  Entrances are located in the front, on the Cherry St. side and in the rear. During inclement weather, a covering is available in the rear parking lot for you to let your family off at the door.

Attire varies at PUMC.  While on any given Sunday you will find the majority of the congregation dressed in casual clothing, many others can always be found in dresses and ties. Our goal is to have a worship environment where people can feel comfortable regardless of their attire.

Our nursery is open for children (birth – age 3) by 8:50 am, and is managed by PUMC staff and a volunteer. Please inform our nursery staff of any concerns or allergies. All staff and volunteers undergo a national criminal background check before being approved to work or help with our children and youth.

Children’s Church

Mid-way through the Sunday worship service, children are invited to participate in their own worship experience. Children through the second grade are invited to leave the Sanctuary and attend Children’s Church, where our teachers will lead the children in a worship experienced based on the same theme the Pastor is using for the morning sermon.  This allows parents and children to engage in meaningful conversation regarding the morning lessons.
